Rob Murphy 's Career Highlights

1996 - Rob signed on with the Guppies in late March of 1996. Quickly jumped into the Guppies line-up winning the Rookie of the year award. Scored a hat trick in the Guppies Championship game vs Team Kuzak. Voted leagues Most Valuable Player.

1997 - Was key in helping the Guppies capture first place in the regular season. Rob was a leader in the Guppies offense. Was scratched from the Guppies Semi-finals game in which the Guppies lost

1998 - Rob was moved from offense to defense on a regular basis as the team needed. Even with him playing both positions he was among the team leaders in points.

2001 - After losing (0-6-0) several games in a row it was Rob's  idea to move himself and Brian Kelly to defense. The Guppies would go 3-0-1 in their final for games to make the playoffs. Rob was again among the league leaders in scoring.

2002 - Played in 8 regular season games and was second on the team in scoring. Murphy would help lead the Guppies to their first Zrink Championship.

2003 - Rob played in 9 regular season games and lead the team in points while playing defense. Murphy was instrumental in helping the Guppies second straight championship and a 24-0-0 record over the previous 2 seasons.

Spring 2003 - Played in all 12 Guppies Games and recorded a career high in points. Shared the Team lead in goals with Tim Poulin (18). Was voted the Team's Most Valuable Player.

Summer 2003 - Played in 8 regular season games and all three playoff games. Was fourth on the Team in points and second among Defensemen. Tied team record for most assists in one game, 5 vs the Knights on September 21st.
